Snipers vs Thieves 

Are you a sniper, or a thief, or would you like to be both? Thieves are stealing The Banker’s money, and it’s up to the Sniper to stop them in this mobile online multiplayer game. You get to decide whose side you’re on. Snipers Vs. Thieves is a fast-paced game where you can play with strangers or with friends. Either play as the sniper and be a lone wolf or play with up to four friends and play as a band of thieves trying to escape with the loot. As the sniper, it is your responsibility to take down the thieves before they reach the getaway van on the other side of the map. The thieves can be taken down either by shooting them as they sneak around or, if the sniper delays them long enough and time runs out, the remaining thieves who haven’t died or escaped will be arrested. As one of the thieves, use your environment to safely get to the van with your loot. Hide behind buildings and cars, use barrels and boxes to sneak across the map like it’s Metal Gear Solid. If the thieves can reach the getaway van without dying and before the time runs out, the loot will be split between them. If someone dies along the way, their loot can be picked up by another thief and added to the total at the end. For Snipers, there’s the office button. This is where the leaderboard can be found, as well as updating your profile (coming soon), and masks. Your character can have a variety of masks from collections like the “comfortably warm collection” which is ski masks in different colors, to the “oddball collection”, where if you want a giant eyeball for a mask, you can get it. In the Black Market, players can find the masks to buy as well as better scopes for the rifles, health kits, and other items. The items change every 24 hours, giving a nice level of variety and adding to the replayability of the game. The more new stuff there is, the longer the game will stay interesting.

Snipers vs Thieves plays off of the basic cops and robbers premise. You can be a sniper, responsible for snuffing out multiple robbers before they reach their getaway van. Or you can be a robber, responsible for dashing and ducking your way from bank to getaway vehicle as you look to avoid the sniper’s bullet. If this all sounds a bit sinister you’re right, but when it comes to vigilante crime-fighters and bank robbers, a less intimidating bunch you’re unlikely to find. Your tasks are simple and while it’s free-to-play model gives you lots of options in terms of in-app purchases, it doesn’t require massive amounts of investment in terms of money or energy. As far as multiplayer games go, the performance of Snipers vs Thieves is such that you can easily play for hours before realising that you’ve been teamed up with other real players around the world rather than computer-generated characters. In terms of gameplay, it is difficult to compare sniper mode versus robber mode. They are such different experiences that they could (and generally would) comprise separate games. That they coexist is the game’s major strength a huge part of the game’s core appeal comes from the fact that you can switch back and forth without a care in the world. At least nine different maps including the docks, downtown, and the pier. The maps are picked at random by the game and give it even more variety. Before you start the game, there’s a power-ups shop where snipers can buy amo, traps, and better rifles and thieves can buy boosts, disguises such as boxes or trees, and different loot bags. The amount of variety in this game is what makes it so easily addictive.

Different maps and two character types to choose from gives it a new feel each time, and playing against other people and not bots definitely adds to it. The art style is cartoonish with bright colors and simple designs, giving the game a fun feel. Snipers Vs Thieves is highly addictive and the fast pace and quick matches makes it easy to get lost in. On the main screen of the game you will be able to choose sides. For Snipers, there’s the office button. This is where players can join a group of friends or strangers up to 25 people can fit in each cartel. You have to be level 14 to join any cartels, but leveling up is super easy, which keeps the game fun and interesting. Lastly there is a Loot button which is where loot cases can be opened with keys collected while playing the game or by buying them. And if you need more money or gold bars, the currency in the game, there are microtransactions in place for that. There are occasional ads in the game as well, though they’re not excessive which keeps from discouraging the player from playing the game.

Protect your vault in real-time from rival bankers! Take them out before they get to the getaway van. Team up with Thieves across the world or buddy up with your friends and take on rival gangs.  Blow your rivals away with explosive ammo or ice the competition with freeze bullets. Disguise yourself as a car or perhaps even a tree to slip away with all the loot. Collect over 100 different masks! Highlights include Samurai, Pumpkin head and Disco Ball guy. Seasons and events filled with new content and surprises. Climb your way to the elite leaderboards and prove your worth against the best in the business. If you play as a Sniper, your role is to be on the lookout for the thieves as they leave the location of their latest heist. Your goal is to shoot down as many of the thieves as you can before they make it to the getaway vehicle. Most thieves can’t be taken out with just one shot — unless you’re lucky enough to get a head shot in. But getting a good shot will be challenging as the thieves will dart back and forth between obstacles at varying rates of speed, sometimes deploying decoys or using other devices to aid their escape. The types of shots you make and the number of thieves you end up capturing will determine the cash and rewards you earn when the time runs out.

On the flip side, if you play as a thief, you’re part of a team with a team goal. On an individual level, your goal is to get out of there alive, but the size and type of rewards you earn will depend on how many of your comrades made it out alive. Your gameplay as a thief also differs from that of a sniper in that you don’t use any weapons for counter attack. Rather, your job is to sneak around using any means available to avoid detection and deflect damage as you make your way to the getaway vehicle.As a sniper, if you manage to take out at least on thief you’ll be rewarded with a special suitcase. The same is true when you play as a thief and make it out alive.  These suitcases are unlocked over time, or if you don’t want to wait, with the game’s premium currency. The suitcases contain cards in them that allow you to unlock new gadgets and devices, or upgrade those you already own. For Snipers, the upgrades include things like better guns, bombs, and detection devices to help you root out the enemy. As a thief, your upgrades include things like disguises, decoys, health restoring drinks and protective clothing.  Like most multi-player games, Sniper vs. Thieves has a guild system, which players can join in order to complete heists together. Joining a guild also allows players to compete against other guilds by completing various objectives. Top guilds will be awarded premium prizes at the end of a season. There are also daily missions players can compete to win additional suitcases. Getting the hang of the game (especially when playing as a sniper) can be a little tricky at first, and for those who prefer to play a causal unranked game, there is a practice mode available.
